Mr. Bhanu Choudhrie As A Philanthropist and Sportsperson

Born in 1978 and schooled in New Delhi, Mr. Bhanu Choudhrie is armed with a Masters in International Business and Marketing from the University of Boston. At a fairly young age he has earned recognition in the world of international business and asset management. He has a long list of distinguished achievements to his name of which, the ‘Entrepreneur Of The Year’ Award, conferred to him at the Asian Voice Political and Public Life wards in 2008 in recognition of his business and philanthropic achievements, is one of many.

Despite being a man who is extremely busy, Mr. Bhanu Choudhrie engages in philanthropic acts. He firmly believes in giving back to the community which has given him so much. He helps underprivileged children and those with crippling disabilities to realize the full extent of what they are capable of. Through direct funding as well as promotional fund raising, he not only keeps charitable foundations running strong but also educates the public, at large, about the problems faced by those less fortunate in society and what they, being in a position far superior to them can do.

In addition to his humanitarian efforts, Mr. Bhanu Choudhrie is also a very keen sportsman, and has been since his youth. He represented his school in various regional athletic events and presently plays golf, basketball and enjoys horse riding in his free time. He has been appointed to the post of non-Executive Director of the Board of Commonwealth Games, England which is something he is very excited about and has come up with plans to bring in large investments for the forthcoming 2014 CWG to be held in Glasgow.
